The MICROORC Project consortium is gathering in Copenhagen, Denmark, for the project’s first General Assembly!
Hosted by the University of Copenhagen, the consortium—represented by 50 participants—is engaging in fruitful discussions, idea exchanges, and comparisons of the results achieved so far towards developing sustainable solutions to reduce and prevent food spoilage and food waste.
This meeting in Copenhagen is also allowing us to learn more about the work that the University of Copenhagen is performing within MICROORC, such as computational modeling of shelf life using combinations of machine learning and mechanistic models, and system-level environmental, social, and economic cost-benefit analysis of MICROORC market entry scenarios using a mixed-method multi-criteria assessment approach.
